As another growing season comes to a close, we find ourselves looking back with full hearts and a deep sense of gratitude. The 2025 farming season brought its share of challenges and triumphs — as every year on the farm tends to do — but more than anything, it reminded us why we love this way of life.
From the very first sprouts in spring to the last blooms of fall, this season was a challenge. The weather kept us guessing, going from RAIN RAIN RAIN to DRY DRY DRY. With later planting than usual, the season seemed to get off to a slow start. Fast forward to summer, the blooms were finally beautiful and we were having a great season! Then, as the drought hit, our blooms started to look a little sad, and pumpkin growth slowed down. However, we didn’t let these challenges stop us! We used what God gave us and still had our best season yet, introducing new flower varieties, new events like yoga, painting classes, and an autumn market event.
We’re especially thankful for everyone who visited, supported, and shared in our farm’s story this year. Whether you picked flowers, stopped by for pumpkins, or simply followed along with us online, you’ve been a part of what makes our little patch of earth so special. Farming is hard work — but it’s the people who make it meaningful.
As we allow the fields to rest for winter and plan for the season ahead, we carry with us the lessons of 2025: patience, persistence, and joy.
Until next season — thank you for being part of our story.
