There are moments that remind us exactly why we started First Love Farms, and our recent Farm-to-Table Dinner was one of them.
Last Saturday, guests gathered around the table surrounded by nature and good company. It was an evening centered around community, fresh food, and celebrating the local agricultural businesses that make our region so special.
We were honored to partner with Wild Goose Catering, whose talented team crafted an unforgettable six-course dining experience. Each course was thoughtfully prepared using locally sourced ingredients, showcasing the incredible flavors that can only come from supporting nearby farms and producers. Every plate told a story—from farm to table—and reflected the care, creativity, and passion that goes into locally grown food.
Adding another layer to the evening, guests enjoyed curated tastings from White Squirrel Winery and Jackson Purchase Distillery. Their handcrafted wines and spirits complemented each course beautifully and highlighted the exceptional craftsmanship found right here in our own communities.
One of our favorite moments was simply looking down the table and seeing friends, families, and neighbors gathered together—sharing conversations, laughter, and a meal made with intention. In today's busy world, there is something special about slowing down, enjoying seasonal food, and connecting with the people around you.
Events like these remind us that farming is about so much more than growing flowers or producing food. It's about creating meaningful experiences, building relationships, and supporting the things that help our communities thrive.
